OUR TECHNIQUE
Using a handheld wand the dentist will capture a digital impression of the inside of the mouth. The wand uses the latest optical technology to capture an accurate digital image. As you sit in the chair the wand will be inserted into the mouth imperceptibly and moved across the top and bottom teeth. The captured image will be displayed in real time on a monitor nearby.
The monitor image allows the dentist to analyse the digital impression immediately and correct any errors in the captured image.
